Carly Williams

Director of Investor Relations & Business Development

Ms. Williams joined Murchinson Capital Management in 2025 as Director of Investor Relations and Business Development. Prior to joining Murchinson, Carly was a Managing Director at Kawa Capital Management in Miami, a $3.1 billion credit and macro hedge fund and private equity real estate asset manager, where she raised institutional and family office capital, launched new products, and structured customized SMAs across private credit and asset-backed lending platforms and was responsible for expanding the fund with investors from North America, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to Kawa, she was Vice President of Marketing and Investor Relations at Pine River Capital, a $16 billion AUM hedge fund in New York, focusing on structured credit and reinsurance strategies. Carly began her career at Goldman Sachs and from 2007-2012 in fixed income and mortgage / structured product trading as part of Strategic Portfolio Solutions Group. Carly graduated Vanderbilt University in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Economics.
