Danial Taheri

Portfolio Manager – Equity Long/Short

Mr. Taheri joined Murchinson in 2021 and is currently the Portfolio Manager of the firm’s equity long/short strategy. In 2019, Danial completed an internship at JHK, a boutique investment bank in the UK, focusing on healthcare and infrastructure. Additionally, Danial was an investment analyst intern at Anson Funds, a Toronto-based hedge fund, where he conducted financial and forensic research on companies’ financial statements and business models. Danial received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto in 2020. In his final year, Danial represented the University of Toronto and was a finalist in the Canadian National Investment Banking Competition.
