Nicholas Tata

Chief Operating Officer & Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Tata joined Murchinson as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2021. Previously, Nicholas served as CCO and Senior Vice President of Operations at Next Edge Capital Corp from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, he was the Director of Operations and Compliance at Alignvest Capital Management from 2016 to 2019. Before that, Nicholas held roles of increasing responsibility with RBC Wealth Management, TD Wealth Management, and CIBC beginning in 2006. Nicholas graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designations.
